I heard about mini cpap machines a few years ago. I did not prescribe them because most insurance plans do not pay for mini cpap machines and my patients wanted to use insurance. Most health insurance plans still don't pay for mini cpap machines, also called portable cpap machines. But this year several patients asked me to help them get mini cpap machines. I always recommend patients take their cpap machines onto the airplane as carry-on luggage. Because of extra fees for carry-on luggage, after a few vacations, my patients were able to recover some of the cost of purchasing mini cpap machines.
After reviewing several different makes on mini cpap machines, I ordered my patients the Transcend APAP . I share more about the Transcend on my YouTube Channel. Click this link to view the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtk8G2BPVlA
